Right now we have about 26 chickens. They are all different breeds of chickens.

They are sometimes called Easter Egger breeds because each one lays a different color of egg. Right now we get shades of brown, blue, green, and a beautiful pearl off-white color.

Until a few years ago, I thought all chicken eggs were either white or brown. It turns out they come in so many different shades and colors!
